Let It Be Set Aside Until Elijah Comes/ until the Messia (Elijah) comes
The matter will not be decided until the Messiah comes. By extension: the issue will be left unresolved, and the decision about it will be deferred for a long time.
("If one found a deed among his deeds and does not know what it is worth, let it be set aside until Elijah comes" — Bava Metzia 8a; and likewise: "There is a presumption that this time too it is destined to settle, and so the matter will go on round and round until Elijah comes" — Bialik, Hovelei Lashon; and likewise: "He said that it would be better to set out on the road and leave these questions and these problems aside until Elijah comes, as is customary among Jews to bypass sugyot that have no solution" — H. Baer, El Makom Sheharuach Holekh, 257)
