Judea and Samaria
Territories in the center of the Land of Israel in its eastern part, in the areas where the Kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel mentioned in the Bible were located, and where each separately had the center of national and religious activity.
("And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months" — 2 Samuel 2:11, and also: "Ahab son of Omri began to reign over Israel in the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah, and Ahab son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty-two years" — 1 Kings 16:29).

חַבְלֵי אֶרֶץ בְּמֶרְכַּז אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּחֶלְקָהּ הַמִּזְרָחִי בַּאֲזוֹרִים שֶׁבָּהֶם הָיוּ מַמְלֶכֶת יְהוּדָה וּמַמְלֶכֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל הַנִּזְכָּרוֹת בַּתָּנָ"ךְ וּבָהֶם הָיְתָה בְּכָל אַחַת בְּנִפְרָד מֶרְכַּז הַפְּעִילוּת הַלְּאֻמִּית וְהַדָּתִית.
