A respectful address to a rabbi or other wise person, asking them to teach or to offer a wise remark on the subject.

פְּנִיַּית כָּבוֹד לָרַב אוֹ לְאָדָם חָכָם שֶׁיִּלְמַד אוֹ שֶׁיַּגִּיד דְּבַר חָכְמָה בַּנּוֹשֵׂא.
