There is reason in what he says
There is logic in his words. There is meaning to the things he said (the sense of reason or logic).
("Two elders were in Sidon, one acting according to Beit Shammai and the other according to Beit Hillel; this one gives a reason for his words—against the festival offerings, and that one gives a reason for his words—because we ascend in holiness and do not descend" — Shabbat 21b. And likewise: "Rabbi Yehuda Halevi said: If so, I see that they misled us with these names, and that philosophers partner with the Creator when we say: nature acts wisely; and it is possible to say 'Creator' with the reason of things" — Kuzari, first essay. And likewise: "And he wanted to pray in the field. He has some reason for the matter... and he knows the forest היטב" — Y.L. Peretz. And likewise: "If one lawyer says... it seems that there is reason in what he says?... and then a second lawyer came and said..." — Shalom Aleichem.)
