City Dweller

An urban person; someone accustomed to living in a city (a krach is a large, densely populated city).

"Let us rise early to the vineyards" — these are houses of prayer and houses of study. "Let us see whether the vine has budded" — these are masters of Scripture; "whether the grape blossoms have opened" — these are masters of Mishnah; "whether the pomegranates are in bloom" — these are masters of Gemara.
