אַל תְּבִיאֵנִי לִידֵי נִסָּיוֹן
אַל תַּעֲמִיד אוֹתִי בְּנִסָּיוֹן. אֲנִי מְבַקֵּשׁ שֶׁלֹּא לְהִבָּחֵן לְגַבֵּי יְכוֹלוֹתַי. אַל תַּעֲמִיד בִּפְנֵי פִּתּוּי שֶׁעָלוּל לְהַכְשִׁיל אוֹתִי.

Suffer me not to come within the power of temptation

Do not put me to the test. I ask not to be examined regarding my abilities. Do not place before me a temptation that could cause me to stumble.
