When a person becomes angry, even the Divine Presence is of no importance to him
When a person gives in to anger, he loses his self-control and judgment, becoming blind to reason and even disregarding sacred or moral values.

כַּאֲשֶׁר אָדָם כּוֹעֵס הוּא מְאַבֵּד אֶת שִׁקּוּל דַּעְתּוֹ וְאֶת שַׁלִּיטָתוֹ הָעַצְמִית, עַד שֶׁאֵינוֹ מְסֻגָּל לְהַבְחִין בֵּין טוֹב לְרַע, וְאַף נוֹטֶה לְזַלְזֵל בָּעֲרָכִים הָרוּחָנִיִּים וְהַמְּקֻדָּשִׁים.
