When a person becomes angry, even the Divine Presence is of no importance to him

When a person becomes angry, even the Divine Presence is of no importance to him

When a person gives in to anger, he loses his self-control and judgment, becoming blind to reason and even disregarding sacred or moral values.

("Rabba bar Rav Huna said: Anyone who becomes angry, even the Divine Presence is of no importance to him. Rabbi Yirmeya of Difti said: Moreover, he forgets his learning and adds foolishness" – Yalkut Shimoni, Psalms 1049)
