Trust not in yourself until the day of your death
Never be excessively self-confident. A proverb warning against a person's excessive confidence in his own abilities and powers.
("Hillel says: Do not separate yourself from the community and do not trust in yourself until the day of your death, and do not judge your fellow until you reach his place" – Avot 2:4)

לְעוֹלָם אֶל תִּהְיֶה בַּעַל בִּטָּחוֹן עַצְמִי מֻפְרָז. פִּתְגָּם נֶגֶד בִּטָּחוֹן עַצְמִי מֻפְרָז שֶׁל אָדָם בְּכוֹחוֹתָיו וִיכוֹלוֹתָיו.
