Cursed are the wicked whose goodness is never complete

Cursed are the wicked whose goodness is never complete

Cursed are the wicked, for even when they do good, it is not complete. Even when a wicked person does good, some measure of evil clings to it, or the goodness is incomplete.

("And there with us was a young Hebrew, a servant to the captain of the guard (Genesis 41:12). A young Hebrew servant – cursed are the wicked whose goodness is never complete, for he mentions him with words of disgrace: 'young' – a fool, unworthy of greatness; 'Hebrew' – does not even know our language; 'servant' – … for no servant can rule." – Rashi, Genesis 41:12)
