Bar Kayama, Ben Kayama/ stable/ lasting/ capable of living

One possessing the ability to endure or exist. By extension: stable and firm (in Aramaic: בַּר means son, קיימא means existence or continuity).

"And on the eighth day his flesh of the foreskin shall be circumcised. For one who is a son enduring to bring out one who is not a son enduring, like the flooding of a river full of blood, or a river full of water" - Midrash Aggadah (Buber) Vayikra chapter 12, and also: "And the two courtyards were bound by a bond of stability" - Byalik / The Trumpet was shamed, 1014, and also: "But who can trust that the matter will be enduring, meaning that the society will continue and exist" - Y. Borla / Longings, 259
