(He said to him: He is the one from before, the man Bar Oryan (He said to him: Let us rise in his honor because he is a son of Torah) - Shabbat 32b, and also: At Bar Oryan’s place, Menashe Chaim would recite words of Torah. תַּלְמִיד חָכָם. בֶּן תּוֹרָה. לַמְדָן.
