In His Abundant Goodness
By virtue of the great goodness that He possesses.
("Strong and holy, in Your abundant goodness You lead Your congregation" - a liturgical poem 'Ana Bekoach' said on Sabbath night; and likewise: Rashi explains "your greatness" as Your attribute of goodness, and "Your strong hand" as the attribute of strict justice, for according to the letter of the law, one is not obligated at all, but in His abundant goodness He bestows kindness upon one who has no claim upon Him. בִּזְכוּת הַטּוֹב הָרַב שֶׁיֵּשׁ בּוֹ.
