One should not set aside one life for another
One does not cause the death of a person in advance in order to save another person.
("Is it permitted to save the life of a greater person at the expense of a lesser one?... If most of the body has emerged, one does not touch him, for one does not set aside one life for another"—Jerusalem Talmud, Shabbat 14:4. Likewise: "If the head has emerged, one does not touch him, for one does not set aside one life for another"—Sanhedrin 72b.)
