God does not come with complaints against His creatures

God does not come with complaints against His creatures

God does not judge people with petty complaints or by a standard that ignores human weaknesses. God's demands of man take human frailty into account.

("What is meant by the verse (Deuteronomy 7): 'which I command you today'? Today to do them—not tomorrow; today to do them—not today to receive the reward! Rather, God does not come with complaints against His creatures"—Avodah Zarah 3a. Similarly: "To teach you that God does not come with complaints against His creatures, requiring from them difficult service, but only gently and with soft words"—Rabbeinu Bahya, Exodus 15.)
