A curse cannot rest where blessing has been pronounced
A curse and misfortune cannot be found in a blessed place.
(Rabbi Yehuda says: A curse does not rest in a place of blessing, as the Holy One, blessed be He, blessed Noah and his sons, as it is said: 'And God blessed Noah and his sons', and Canaan was conceived in the ark. - Midrash Tanchuma (Warsaw), Parashat Noah, section 15)

הַקְּלָלָה וְחֹסֶר הַמַּזָּל אֵינָם נִמְצָאִים בְּמָקוֹם מְבֹרָךְ.
