A handful will not satisfy the lion
A little does not satisfy the lion’s hunger. By extension: the quantity is not enough to fill a great need. This small amount cannot satisfy the hunger.

אֵין מְעַט מָזוֹן מַשְׂבִּיעַ אֶת תַּאֲבוֹנוֹ שֶׁל הָאַרְיֵה. בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: הַכַּמּוּת אֵינָהּ מַסְפִּיקָה לְמַלֵּא אֶת הַמַּחְסוֹר הַגָּדוֹל. אֵין הַכַּמּוּת הַקְּטַנָּה הַזּוֹ יְכוֹלָה לְהַשְׁבִּיעַ אֶת הָרָעָב.
