One does not bring evidence from fools
One cannot rely on information provided by a fool. The testimony of a foolish person is generally worthless.
("Rabbi Eliezer said to the sages: Did not Ben Stada bring out sorcery from Egypt by making marks on his flesh? They said: He was a fool, and one does not bring evidence from fools" - Shabbat 104b)

לֹא נִתָּן לְהִסְתַּמֵּךְ עַל מֵידָע שֶׁמּוֹסֵר טִפֵּשׁ. עֵדוּת אָדָם שׁוֹטֶה אֵינָהּ בַּעֲלַת עֵרֶךְ בְּדֶרֶךְ כְּלָל.
