He cares
It matters to him. It's important to him. He is interested.
(The Holy One, blessed be He, said: For every matter there is lashon hara (evil speech), but for cursing the Name there is no lashon hara. Why? Because just as when a person curses his fellow in his absence and another hears and cares, but if he curses his father in front of him, he risks his life and says: 'You cursed my father?!' - Midrash Tanchuma (Warsaw) Parashat Vayikra, section 7)

נוֹגֵעַ לוֹ. חָשׁוּב לוֹ. מְעַנְיֵן אוֹתוֹ.
