Faith in the Sages
Faith in the authority of the Sages (Chazal) to rule. Belief and trust in the truth of the words of the Sages and the righteous in every generation.
("Torah is greater than priesthood and kingship... and Torah is acquired in forty-eight ways: in study, attentive hearing... in minimizing speech, minimizing pleasure, minimizing laughter, minimizing worldly involvement, patience, a good heart, faith in the sages, and acceptance of suffering"—Avot 6:5. Likewise: "The main thing is to have faith in the sages, to honor them, to greatly revere them... to believe that surely they act correctly according to the Torah"—Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, Likutey Moharan, Torah 57. And: "When you look at the sky when it is clear and bright, you will merit faith in the sages"—Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, Sefer HaMiddot, Emunah.)

אֱמוּנָה בְּסַמְכוּתָם שֶׁל חָזָ"ל לִפְסֹק. אֱמוּנָה וּבִטָּחוֹן בָּאֲמִתּוּת דִּבְרֵי חָזָ"ל וְהַצַּדִּיקִים שֶׁבְּכָל דּוֹר וְדוֹר.
