Corps of the Torah
Important or principal commandments in the Torah.
("The permission of vows flies in the air and there is nothing to which the laws of Sabbath, festivals and the priestly garments can be anchored; indeed, they are like mountains hanging by a hair, as they are a small Scriptural text and many laws of judgments and pure and impure services and forbidden relations have to what they are anchored. מִצְווֹת חֲשׁוּבוֹת אוֹ עִקָּרִיּוֹת שֶׁבַּתּוֹרָה.
