What is this thing like?
A common question in Torah texts to examine the likeness or analogy of a matter to a parable or meaning, as in Aramaic 'this means'.
("What is this like? To lock his house to guard it and find a deer preserved within it" - Shabbat 13:7, and likewise: "If a prophet stands and performs great signs and wonders, and seeks to deny the prophecy of our teacher Moses - we do not listen to him... What is this like? Like witnesses who testified to a man about something he saw with his own eyes that is not as he saw - he does not heed them, but knows for certain that they are false witnesses" - Rambam, Book of Knowledge, Laws of the Foundations of the Torah, Chapter Eight, 3, 92)
