It all depends on luck/ no man can fight destiny
Everything was determined by fate, even the fate of the Torah scroll placed in the temple.

הַכֹּל נִקְבַּע ע"י הַמַּזָּל אֲפִלּוּ גּוֹרָלוֹ שֶׁל סֵפֶר תּוֹרָה הַמֻּנָּח בַּהֵיכָל.
