Hide your face
God's providence is hidden from the eye. An expression that expresses the faith by which God continues to oversee what is done in the world even if it is not visible to the eye.

הַשְׁגָּחַת הָאֵל סְמוּיָה מֵהָעַיִן. בִּטּוּי הַמְּבַטֵּא אֶת הָאֱמוּנָה לְפִיהָ ה' מַמְשִׁיךְ לְהַשְׁגִּיחַ עַל הַנַּעֲשֶׂה בָּעוֹלָם גַּם אִם אֵין זֶה נִרְאֶה לָעַיִן.
