Deathbed statement – legal reference?

Deathbed statement – legal reference?

Words spoken by a person shortly before they died. Legally, great importance is attached to the statements made by someone on their deathbed, as they are considered trustworthy and without intent to mislead.

("The words of a dying person are considered as if written and delivered" – Gittin 13a; also: "Rav said: A person does not usually lie at the time of death" – Jerusalem Talmud Bava Kama IX, 7; also: "At that moment the priest's wagon arrived, returning from the dying man's house in the village" – H. Hazaz, 'Hidden Puddle', p. 133)
