Left-handed person. Someone who uses their left hand more skillfully than their right. (According to Radak, "itter" means "closed," as in Psalms 69:16.)

שְׂמָאלִי. אָדָם שֶׁשּׁוֹלֵט בְּיָדוֹ הַשְּׂמָאלִית טוֹב יוֹתֵר מִיָּדוֹ הַיְּמָנִית. (אִטֵּר ע"פ הָרָדָ"ק מִשְׁמָעוֹ סָגוּר, כְּמוֹ בַּפָּסוּק בִּתְהִלִּים סֵט טז: "אַל תִּשְׁטְפֵנִי שִׁבֹּלֶת מַיִם וְאַל תִּבְלָעֵנִי מְצוּלָה וְאַל תֶּאְטַר עָלַי בְּאֵר פִּיהָ").
