Finds favor in his eyes.
("The one who washed, painted your eyes with kohl, and adorned yourself with jewelry," said of Oholibah, "to whom did you send, and for whose sake did you beautify yourself? Like a prostitute who bathes in the bathhouse, paints her eyes, and wears fine clothes so that she will be beautiful in the eyes of those who see her, and they will desire her" (Radaq on Ezekiel 23:4). And likewise: "An eminent Torah scholar ... and his eyes smile like a person for whom everything is beautiful in his eyes" (Agnon, Tachrich Shel Sipurim, 37).
