Transgression. A halachic prohibition. A matter that one must not do.

("To send with a shaliach (agent) who is fully aware is liable... There is no agency for a matter of transgression" - Kiddushin 47b, and also: "The general rule with us is that there is no agency for a matter of transgression. And the one who transgresses himself is the one whom the rabbinical court punishes" - Rambam's Commentary on the Mishnah, Tractate Terumot 6:3, and also: "It is true what his friends told him... as if her friends were caught in a matter of transgression or in a disgraceful affair" - Y. Burla / Kisu'im, 283)
