אֵין אָדָם נִקְרָא צַדִּיק אֶלָּא אִם כֵּן הוּא טוֹב
אָדָם שֶׁהוּא "צַדִּיק" רַק בְּקִיּוּם מִצְווֹת הַדָּת אַךְ אֵינוֹ אָדָם טוֹב לֵב אֵינוֹ בְּגֶדֶר צַדִּיק.
