אֵין בּוֹדְקִים לַמְּזוֹנוֹת
כְּשֶׁאָדָם מְבַקֵּשׁ מָזוֹן לֶאֱכֹל אֵין צֹרֶךְ לִבְדֹּק אַחֲרָיו אִם הוּא מַעֲמִיד פָּנִים שֶׁהוּא עָנִי, אֶלָּא יֵשׁ לָתֵת לוֹ לֶאֱכֹל.

When a person asks for food to eat, there is no need to investigate whether he is pretending to be poor; rather, one should give him food.
