We have no dealings with mysteries

We do not concern ourselves with secret or hidden matters.

(As it is written in the Book of Ben Sira: 'Do not seek what is too wondrous for you, and do not investigate what is hidden from you.' Focus on what you are permitted to understand; 'You have no dealings with mysteries' (Chagigah 13a). Also: 'And I have seen among the sages of Kabbalah, of blessed memory, who delved deeply into the concept of mazal and explained it as one of the Sefirot... especially their saying: There is mazal for Israel and there is not. Should we say all this refers to the Sefirah, as their statements contradict one another? Therefore, I said to myself: I have no dealings with mysteries. I did not follow the path of Kabbalah; it is distant from me' (Abarbanel, Devarim ch. 4). Also: 'Father, this only became clear to me now, and if you had not taught me that we have no dealings with mysteries, I would have thought someone had preceded me' (Agnon, Ir uMeloah, p. 209). Also: 'We have no dealings with mysteries. Rather, leave Israel to themselves; if they are not prophets, they are the children of prophets' (H. Hazaz, Dorot HaRishonim, p. 88). Also: 'Elijah the Intender was called so because he knew how to intend the Names...
