People are not inclined to listen or give thought to the words of a person who seems dangerous or despicable, even if he speaks words of wisdom.

אֵין הָאֲנָשִׁים נוֹטִים לְהַקְשִׁיב אוֹ לְיַחֵס חֲשִׁיבוּת לִדְבָרָיו שֶׁל אָדָם הַנִּרְאֶה מִסְכֵּן אוֹ בָּזוּי, גַּם אִם אָמַר דִּבְרֵי חָכְמָה.
