The taste of a fish from Akko is not the same as one from Sidon and Asfameia

Figuratively: There are different flavors to different kinds of fish depending on where they live or are raised.

("And to the gathering of the waters He called seas—yet is it not one sea? What then is the meaning of 'He called the gatherings seas'? Rather, the taste of a fish from Akko is not the same as one from Sidon and Asfameia."—Bereishit Rabbah (Theodor-Albeck), Parashat Bereishit, section 5. And also: "The taste of fish from Akko today is as in ancient times, as our sages said: the fish from Akko is not the same as the one from Sidon and Asfameia. Akko was beloved by our sages."—Y. Burla, Longings, 10)
