Yom Kippur Katan/ Minor Day of Atonement (fast observed by Orthodox Jews every eve of the New Moon)
A name for the custom of fasting and penitence that some observe on the eve of each Rosh Chodesh; this custom reflects the command in Numbers 28:15 to bring a sin offering on Rosh Chodesh.
