A man takes more care of his wealth than of his health
It is human nature to worry about losing money but not about wasting time — people tend to value wealth over the preciousness of life and time.
("The righteous value their money more than their bodies, as it is said in the name of Ibn Ezra: A man worries about losing his money but not about losing his days; his money does not help him, and his days do not return." – Responsa Mishneh Halakhot, Part 12, Siman 155)
