אֶבֶן רֵחַיִם, אבן רחיים
אֶבֶן עֲגֻלָּה גְּדוֹלָה וּכְבֵדָה שֶׁתַּפְקִידָהּ לִטְחֹן גַּרְגְּרֵי חִטָּה לְקֶמַח. מְקוֹרוֹ הָרִאשׁוֹנִי שֶׁל הַבִּטּוּי בַּתָּנָ"ךְ, כְּמוֹ בַּפָּסוּק בִּישַׁעְיָהוּ מז ב: "קְחִי רֵחַיִם וְטַחֲנִי קָמַח".

A large, heavy round stone used for grinding wheat grains into flour. The phrase originates from the Bible, as in Isaiah 47:2: “Take the millstones and grind meal.”
