if a man receives his fellow with a pleasant countenance, even if he does not give him anything, it is as though he presented him with all the precious gifts of the world
הגדרה (אנגלית)
Question: The most thought-provoking thing is that a person can give his friend this feeling that he is loved and valued.
("And the Lord receives all men with a beautiful countenance. How? It teaches that if a man gives his friend all the good things that are in the world, and his face is humbled on earth, it is written upon him as if he had not been given a word. But he who receives his friend with a beautiful countenance, even if he has not been given a word, it is written upon him as if he had not been given a word. "He gave him all the good gifts of the world" - Small Tracts, Tract of the Fathers of the Rabbis, Text 1, Chapter 13)
