A person succeeds in his studies when he learns in a place he loves. Figuratively: a person succeeds in learning things that his heart is drawn to.

אָדָם מַצְלִיחַ בְּלִמּוּדָיו כַּאֲשֶׁר הוּא לוֹמֵד בְּמָקוֹם שֶׁאָהוּב עָלָיו. בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: אָדָם מַצְלִיחַ בְּלִמּוּד דְּבָרִים שֶׁלִּבּוֹ נִמְשָׁךְ אֲלֵיהֶם.
