There is no generation without jesters
In every generation there are frivolous people who mock all serious matters (here, 'jester' means a scoffer).

בְּכָל דּוֹר יֶשְׁנָם קַלֵּי דַּעַת הַלּוֹעֲגִים לְכָל דָּבָר רְצִינִי (לֵיצָן כָּאן מַשְׁמָע לַגְלְגָן).
