The living cannot deny the living
It is impossible to deny the existence of something living and present. By extension: I am alive and present, and my existence or the act I recounted cannot be denied.
(He said to him: Yehoshua, stand on your feet and let them testify about you! Rabbi Yehoshua stood on his feet and said: If I were alive and he were dead—the living could deny the dead. But now that I am alive and he is alive—how can the living deny the living?! - Berakhot 27b)

לֹא נִתָּן לְהַכְחִישׁ אֶת קִיּוּמוֹ שֶׁל דָּבָר חַי וְקַיָּם. בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: אֲנִי חַי וְקַיָּם וְלֹא נִתָּן לְהַכְחִישׁ אֶת קִיּוּמִי אוֹ אֶת הַמַּעֲשֶׂה שֶׁסִּפַּרְתִּי.
