Who is the hero among heroes? One who makes his enemy his friend
The greatest hero of all is the one who succeeds in turning an enemy he has into a friend or companion. The highest degree of heroism is to succeed in making an enemy a friend.

הַגִּבֹּר הַגָּדוֹל מִכֻּלָּם הוּא הָאָדָם הַמַּצְלִיחַ לַהֲפֹךְ אוֹיֵב שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ לְאוֹהֵב אוֹ יָדִיד. דַּרְגַּת גְּבוּרָה גְּבוֹהָה הִיא לְהַצְלִיחַ לַהֲפֹךְ אוֹיֵב לְחָבֵר.
