הַנּוֹתֵן פְּרוּטָה לַעֲנִי מִתְבָּרֵךְ בְּשֵׁשׁ בְּרָכוֹת וְהַמְפַיְּיסוֹ בַּדְּבָרִים מִתְבָּרֵךְ בְּאַחַת עֶשְׂרֵה בְּרָכוֹת

In the question: He who donates and gives charity brings a blessing upon himself. But he who knows how to encourage and emotionally support a poor person will be blessed even more.
