If there is no peace, there is nothing
In the absence of peace, it is impossible to enjoy anything. Peace is equal to everything. If there is no peace, there is no enjoyment from the other things in the world.

בְּהֶעְדֵּר שָׁלוֹם לֹא נִתָּן לֵהָנוֹת מִשּׁוּם דָּבָר. הַשָּׁלוֹם שָׁקוּל כְּנֶגֶד הַכֹּל. אִם אֵין שָׁלוֹם אֵין הֲנָאָה מִשְּׁאָר הַדְּבָרִים שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם.
